I got a figurine from my 94 year old grandmother that is in pristine condition- It is a girl pointing up and looking at a baby in a stroller- the sticker states "Little Mother". My nana said that my uncle brought it home from Germany after the war. It does not say japan or any other stickers.
The bottom has Disigned by Erich Stauffer then the cross marks then
S8588. Any clue if it is worth anything? Thanks

I have 2 figurines They were both broken and glued back together one is a boy with a white dog by a fence play ing a flute and the other is a girl holding a stick or something which broke off with a red cap with white trim in a red dress with a white apron she is standing with some very smakll trees trees covered in snow. the bottom shows designed by erich stauffer, 2 feathers criss srossed and the number 8218 the boy with the dog shows the number only of 8349. Are these just pretty much junk????

This was very informative - thank you. I am courious if Erich Stauffer ever signed his work as Erich Stauf? I have a 10" fake Hummel signed this way with an Orignial Arnartcreation Japan foil lable on it. The S in his last name is a cursive S. It is a figurine of a boy playing a French Horn with a small paper label glued to the front that says Music Time.
